"Oh no, no, no , he certainly wasn't, he--hmm, here--" Joly grabs his drink and tugs Bossuet in the direction of the sofa, where he pulls out his tablet, and brings up one of the better pages on velociraptors he'd found in the Library's archives. "You see -- that's what any later scientist would call a velociraptor-- and he, well, he was much larger, and had no feathers at all." Joly takes a sip of his sherry, to give Bossuet a chance to study the velociraptor information better.
"I thought he might have been confused, or lied to , or something,by a human in his own world, you know--he had, oh, this terrible children's book about dinosaurs-- anyway, I tried to tell him about velociraptors." Joly starts laughing again. "It was like telling a professor his lesson is outdated! Who knew giant lizards had such academics!"
